Protect & Moisturise – Safely, without bad chemicals

There has been a lot of attention in the press & various health care sites about harmful chemicals found in skin care products.

Quoting from this Daily Telegraph article  in 2013 “The preservative – known as MI – is used in a wide range of shampoos, moisturisers and shower gels as well as make-up and baby wipes… Experts say the chemical is second only to nickel in causing contact allergies. One in 12 adults and one in five children in the UK now have eczema, of which contact dermatitis is one of the most common types. MI, which is short for methylisothiazolinone, is a preservative which is also found in paint…”

So, this is why our skin care products  are made using guaranteed, pure natural ingredients.

Once again a quote, this time from Safe Cosmetics.Org “…Since the beauty industry is largely unregulated, it’s up to you to do your own research to find the safest products. There are no legal standards for personal care products labeled as “pure,” “natural” or “organic,” so look beyond the marketing claims and read labels carefully.”

Please choose your skin care products carefully and read the label!
