Terms & Conditions – Shopping on Natural Ireland

This website, www.naturalireland.ie, is owned and operated by Natural Ireland. All our products are sold subject to the terms and conditions set out here. Please read these conditions carefully before using the website. By entering the site, you agree to the terms and conditions described below. The information set out here is so that both parties are clear about their obligations and rights. They are standard terms and conditions, and they are widely used to protect each party’s interest. This website is intended for use by persons of 18 years of age and over.

Making a Purchase

To make a purchase click on naturalireland.ie and browse the products. Select the product you wish to buy and add it to the shopping basket. When you have added your full selection to the basket, click on ‘Checkout’ to complete the order, then enter the details requested to make the delivery. When you click on “Place Order“, you offer to buy the goods at the prices indicated including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase. All orders will be now subject to these conditions.

If your order is accepted, you will be notified of this soon after you submit your order by email

Remember, under Irish law, when buying goods or services on the internet, the consumer is entering a legally binding contract and is protected by online consumer rights including EU distance selling directive (S.I. 207 2001). Persons attempting fraudulent transactions will be prosecuted accordingly.

Natural Ireland reserves the right to cancel an order if:
• Delivery to your area cannot be arranged
• There is insufficient stock to fulfil the goods ordered
• One or more of the goods ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to an error. If your order is cancelled, we will notify you by email and refund your account with the sum deducted as soon as possible. Natural Ireland will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for any disappointment suffered.

Making a Payment

We use Stripe and PayPal to facilitate secure payments. You do NOT need to be registered with PayPal to make a payment. The payment processing is handled off-site by our two payment partners where all payment information is encrypted and transmitted using SSL encryption. This is the security technology used by practically every e-commerce and banking website for secure financial transactions. The proof that this technology is being employed is indicated by a small padlock symbol in the page link details (URL bar at the top of your page)

Credit/Debit card details are not visible to Natural Ireland and we therefore cannot store or retain any credit card details on our systems. Please do not send credit card details via email as this form of communication may not be secure.

Pricing Information

All prices and delivery charges are quoted in Euros. Prices and product availability shown on the site are subject to change without notice. Delivery charges are shown in the schedule published on the website and they are charged accordingly.

Product Information

All products sold by Natural Ireland contain all natural ingredients. They are made by hand in small lots in compliance with good manufacturing principles. All products have been subjected to testing according to the appropriate EU Directives.

Delivery & Receipt of Goods

An Post – Irish Postal Service

Natural Ireland uses An Post for some deliveries. If you are not available to take delivery by An Post, then An Post will leave a leaflet showing the collections to be followed in order to collect the goods.

Courier Service

Natural Ireland uses courier services from time to time. Our courier service requires that the you be available and able to sign for the package at the delivery address supplied when the order is placed.  If the nominated place of delivery is unattended at the time the delivery is attempted, the delivery person will leave a calling slip showing collection-point details and a phone number.  It is your responsibility to make a call to agree a time to rearrange delivery. There will be no charge incurred for a second attempted delivery. If subsequent delivery attempts after the second attempt is not successful, the customer will incur an additional delivery charge of €6.50.  The goods must be signed for and received by a person who is 18 years of age or older.

Damaged Goods

You must report damages within 24 hours of delivery. It is important that each item is carefully and thoroughly inspected by you or your authorized agent immediately upon delivery. Natural Ireland will not be responsible for any damage not reported within 24 hours. Damaged goods can be returned by Registered Post to Natural Ireland, The Food Hub Carrick Road, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Please note that replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received by us. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Amendments & Cancellations

If you wish to amend your order after you have placed it, simply  contact us by email at info@naturalireland.ie ,  or by telephone at 353 71 9641793 and we will be pleased to do this without any extra charge. However, this is only possible if we receive your new instructions before your order has been dispatched. We will inform you as appropriate. 

Refunds

Under EU law, when you shop online you have the right to a “cooling-off” period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to the seller. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you may have to pay for the cost of returning the goods.

Natural Ireland only retains the information about our customers that is necessary to process orders and to speed up repeat purchases at our website.

Natural Ireland, The Food Hub, Carrick Road, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, Ireland is the data controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act). The information we collect is always provided voluntarily by you and includes:

• Your delivery address
• Your contact details, including telephone and email information so that we or our delivery agents may contact you to make arrangements for delivery.

If you have purchased goods from Natural Ireland or registered for our newsletter, Facebook and or Instagram feeds, we may contact you with updates on our products, news, special offers etc. either by email, post or social media and you have the option to opt-out of receiving these communications from us. If you do not wish to continue to receive product , marketing or promotions information from us, you should opt-out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link located at the end every email.
Data you submit to our website is held on secure servers managed by our hosting partner. The nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of the information you transmit to us via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we take all reasonable steps (including appropriate technical and organisational measures) to protect your Personal Data. 

Use of Cookie Technology

The site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site. Sales on this website are governed by Irish and EU law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us. Persons attempting fraudulent transactions will be prosecuted accordingly.

In addition, Natural Ireland and its agents are not liable for any damages that result from the use of or inability to use the site including mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files or email, errors, defects, viruses, delays of any kind or failure of performance regardless of the cause.
